Born and raised in Turin, Italy, Alessandra Sorrentino is a Story Artist and 2D Animator, currently working at Netflix. Her career in the animation industry spans over 18 years, marked by contributions to studios such as PIXAR, Blue Sky, Cartoon Saloon and Aardman. Credits include "Inside Out 2", "Nimona", “Wolfwalkers”, “Ron’s Gone Wrong”, Taika Waititi’s "Charlie and the Chocolate Factory", “A Shaun the Sheep Movie”, “Song of the Sea”, “The Breadwinner”, “The Secret of Kells”. Her work has been recognized with two Emmy nominations. In addition to her accomplishments, Alessandra has been sharing her knowledge as a mentor at PIXAR, Netflix, the School of Visual Arts in New York, The Animation Workshop in Denmark and Schoolism.
