Based in New York, Jenny Li is a Chinese-American visual development artist and classical pianist currently at Warner Bros. Animation. She has worked with clients such as ShadowMachine, Riot Games, and Psyop, and she has performed as a soloist with the Beijing Symphony Orchestra. She received her BFA and BM dual degree from Parsons School of Design and Mannes School of Music in 2021. Even before Jenny learned how to speak, she already knew how to pick up a pencil. Inspired by her architect parents, who could turn animals, cars, and cartoon characters to life with a few simple strokes, she has been drawing ever since. While most artists develop their skills toward one field, Jenny’s unique passion for the arts spans across two different worlds. In addition to drawing, she also has a passion for classical music. To weave her two sides together, Jenny began exploring animation during her college years, where she turns her own stories to life through drawing while also composing and performing the soundtrack. While working, Jenny can be seen sipping on a cup of milk tea even though she is lactose intolerant.
