Lia Montgomery is the Senior Director of Studio Talent and Strategic Programs for Feature Animation. Her career in Talent has spanned across multiple industries and regions including Investment Banking, Corporate Law, Start-up E-Commerce, Entertainment and Animation. Since moving into Feature Animation at Netflix she has been an Artistic Recruiter (Art and Story), Talent Acquisition Manager for Overhead hiring, led the Talent Development and Outreach efforts for the studio and most recently oversees both Talent Aquisition and Artist Management for Studio Talent (Production Managment, CG, Pre-Viz, Post & Edit and Overhead). When she is not working Lia spends quality time with her husband, 18 month daughter and 3 dogs taking trips to the zoo, farm, beach and is loving seeing the world through her daughter’s eyes. Originally from the UK, she has a love for travel and experiencing new cultures and places. Up next on her wish list is Japan!
