Marina Soto started working in the animation industry in Barcelona (Spain) at BRB Internacional, ​​where she began her career as a production assistant on multiple 2D and GC TV series projects. Spent the next few years learning and growing in production management and moved to Madrid to become the Production Supervisor for the animation department on the CG Feature film Planet 51 at Ilion Animation. At the end of the film she decided to start a new personal and professional adventure and moved to Los Angeles where she currently lives with her husband and daughter. Over the last few years, she had the opportunity to work at Dreamworks Animation for 10 years, working in production management for several films such as The Croods, Kung Fu Panda 3, Me and my Shadow, The Boss Baby, and Abominable. In 2019 she decided to take a new path within the animation industry and moved to the Dreamworks Talent Acquisition department where she discovered a wonderful new career as a Recruiter. Since 2021 Marina joined the amazing Talent Acquisition team at Netflix, where she is currently working as a recruiter and goes to sleep every night having learned something new!
