Born and raised in Pasadena, California, Michaela Brannon has always had a strong affinity for visual art. After attending the California State Summer School for the Arts (C.S.S.S.A.) in 2012 for sculpture and painting, she decided to pursue a career in the field of animation. She graduated in the spring of 2018 from the Art Center College of Design in Pasadena, California with honors, now holding a BFA in Illustration Entertainment Arts. Her work has been featured in Disney’s Wonderful World of Animation, and in The Hollywood Bowl’s live-to-film concert productions of The Little Mermaid and Coco. Michaela is currently working as a Background Designer at Bento Box Entertainment.
