Edward Jesse

Edward Jesse is a writer, showrunner, creator, and Emmy Award-winning producer. He co-created Apple TV’s animated series WOLFBOY AND THE EVERYTHING FACTORY with his friend Toff Mazery, serving as a co-showrunner, writer, and executive producer. He is Head of Development and an Executive Producer at Joseph Gordon-Levitt’s production company, HITRECORD Films, where he has developed, written, and produced projects including Emmy Award-winning series, CREATE TOGETHER; Emmy Juried Award Finalist, BAND TOGETHER WITH LOGIC; and both seasons of the Emmy-Award winning television series, HITRECORD ON TV. He was showrunner and director of HITRECORD’s animated short film program, THE SHORTS SHOWCASE, and has written and produced international TV commercials for some of the world’s biggest brands, including LG, Samsung, Sony, and Zappos; most recently writing and co-directing the animated short, A FOREST HAUNT, for Canon. Edward grew up in the UK, studied at Camberwell College of Art, and read English Literature at Royal Holloway, University of London, before moving to Los Angeles to work - unsuccessfully - on his tan.
